Regional Multi-Stakeholder Consultation to Strengthen Sex Workers Programmes in Emergency/Humanitarian Settings in East and Southern Africa

UNFPA and ASWA organised Regional Multi-Stakeholder Consultation to Strengthen Sex Workers Programmes in Emergency/Humanitarian Settings in East and Southern Africa Virtual Meeting, which took place from Tuesday, 26 October to Thursday 28 October, at 9:00 – 13:00 (CET).
The meeting was jointly organized by UNFPA and ASWA in collaboration with other UN agencies and partners. The participants were drawn from the ESA region and included multilateral partners such as Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria (GFATM), and PEPFAR; relevant government officials, academia, national human rights institutions, emerging digital tech partners; as well as civil society partners, NGO allies and Regional Economic Communities.
