Grace Kamau holds a Bachelor Degree in Sociology and Political science from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa.

She identifies as a female sex worker and has worked in the HIV field in relation to key populations for 8 years.

She has previously worked at Bar Hostess Empowerment Programme (BHESP) as Program Officer and worked as a consultant with the Global Network of Sex Work Projects.

Her passion has been working with sex workers on issues of HIV prevention, human rights and movement building.

She has also worked as the National coordinator of the Kenya Key Population Consortium, and she currently works as the African Sex Workers Alliance Regional Coordinator in Nairobi.

She was recently appointed as a member of Feminist Opportunity Now (FON) Africa Regional Coordination Committee (RCAC).

Recently appointed as Mama Cash Supervisor Board member.

Rachael Kamau is the Finance & Operations Manager at ASWA with over eight years experience working in  Finance Department and over 5 years working in programs department.  

She is in-charge of overall Finance and administration tasks.

She is responsible for managing and providing oversight and ensure controls on all Financial and operational aspects of the organization.

This includes all of ASWA administrative and programmatic financial responsibilities.  

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Finance; Diploma in Journalism and Public Relations, a certificate in Information Technology (IT) , Course in Monitoring and Evaluation through a collaboration of USAID/Aphia Plus and Government of Kenya.

Grace Nyarath is a feminist, sex workers advocate and a human rights defender.
 
She is a TOT on feminist leadership, capacity and movement building. 
 
Project Coordinator  Sex Workers Academy Africa and Macroeconomics and gender equality on sex workers rights.
 
Sex workers representative at CEDAW & Macroeconomics working group 2024/25.

Bonface Gakuru is a dedicated and inspired human rights advocate with a passion for resisting human rights abuses and oppression, particularly in the area of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR).

With extensive experience in advocacy and capacity building, he has been instrumental in championing the rights of sex workers and their diversity .

His work spans local, regional, and international platforms, where he consistently promotes dignity, equality, and justice for all.

Sosthene Ndike is a writer, community development practitioner, and advocate for HIV/AIDS, sexual and reproductive health, and human rights. With over five years of professional experience in advocacy and community organizing, he has focused on LGBTIQ+ and sex worker issues.
