ASWA is leading the development of a Sex Workers Resilience Fund, supported by UNAIDS. ASWA has started to work on a Sex Workers’ Resilience Fund based on evidence from Covid-19 impact survey and from Aidsfonds Fast Track or Off-Track report. There are ongoing conversations between ASWA and UNAIDS about increasing funding to HIV responses led by the community. However, this hasn’t materialised yet because of the challenging environment brought by COVID-19.
