Africa Leadership Sex Workers Academy (ALESWA) Training of Trainers (T.O.T)

The Africa Sex Workers Alliance (ASWA) has organized an inaugural training of ALESWA’s Training of Trainers (T.O.T). The trainers are also known as the faculty. The training is currently underway in Nairobi Kenya. It commenced on the 21st of September and will end on the 23rd of September.

The Academy was set-up as a vehicle via which we can implement first ever knowledge and leadership training so that we can work on equipping sex workers in Africa to advance their sustainable development in the region.

The leadership academy aims to realize ASWA’S strategic goal to build a strong, resilient, and visible sex-worker led continental movement that is transformative and responsive to the lived realities of all sex workers in Africa as well as to enhance the skills, abilities, and knowledge of individual sex workers to allow them to be change agents at the local, regional, and continental level.
